The Derrick Skating Club has been in operation in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada since September of 1966 and was Incorporated in 1976.  All skaters registered in any of our programs automatically become members of Skate Canada, the governing body for figure skating in Canada.

Learn to Skate Programs include Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate and Adult CanSkate.

Figure Skating Group Programs include Introductory Figure Skating Academy (IFSA), Introductory Figure Skating Youth (IFSY), Rising Stars (RS) and High Performance Prep (HPP).

Private Lesson Programs include Skate Canada's STARSkate and CompetitiveSkate programs.

Off Ice classes are offered multiple times per week to increase strength, stamina and flexibility through fitness, jump and dance classes. Please refer to the Master Schedule for the days and times of the different classes available for the program related to your skater.
